Solutions to China's air pollution crisis via @greenpeaceeasia
With more than "8000 deaths" blamed for the smog and pollution in China, the solutions have to come in fast and they have to be stronger in implementation and effective at mass scale.
Monica Tan of Greenpeace says: "The most basic solution for air pollution is to end its root causes: quit coal and move away from fossil fuels, replacing them with clean, renewable energy."
But other than the long term solutions the main reason for the smog in cities is sudden influx of cars on China's roads. Can EVs be the solution here?
