More eco-friendly Solar Charger which uses AA batteries
Solar mobile-phone & USB-device chargers are slowly becoming
popular. One let down is that you have to chuck the whole device after
the life of their sealed batteries (2-3 yrs).
This particular Solar charger uses easily available AA batteries instead. Plus you can use the charged AA batteries for other purposes as well.

almost 11 years agoThanks for sharing your product, Ifthi. Can you recommend places in San Jose I could get this? Alternatively, would you ship this to California? :-)

almost 11 years agoJulie - the official distributor of this product in the US is - http://www.mangoenergy.com/FindARetailer.htm If that's not helpful, I can try shipping it to you in California when one of my friends travel to the US. Shipping directly via FedEx or DHL will be way too expensive :)
