You can now strike gold from e-waste. Using technology, it is possible to recycle gold worth lakhs of rupees from junked computer monitors, motherboards, televisions and other electronic products.

For instance, it has been able to extract 150 gm of gold from one tonne of discarded printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in these electronic products. At today’s gold price levels, it means a neat Rs 4 lakh and more.
