EM solution can be used as an all-purpose cleaning agent in your house replacing the chemical based solutions. Buy EM1 and then add 15 ml EM1 to 85 ml dechlorinated water , mix with10 gms of jaggery and leave it for fermentation for 1 week. You can the EM2 solution ready for use. If you want to know if it is really fermented, leave a drop for ants to feed on, if the ants are attracted, then it is NOT ready (sugar has not broken down), else if ants are repelled, it is ready for use !
